Some changes have occurred in our consignment policy.  Our standard policy is to charge $25 on initial consignment per consignment piece with no percentage taken from the sale. I have modified the policy by making each subsequent month a reduction of $5.00 in fee($20- 2nd month,$15- 3rd month, etc). If an instrument remained in the shop for 6 months without selling no fees would accrue after that point.  Therefore, the consignor may set a more realistic selling price. We advise all consignors of market value of their instrument upon intake.  Ultimately, it is their decision to set the asking price.  Most consignors grant us authority to negotiate price if you want to make an offer less than the asking price.
